Always moving forward through our research

At Skinome we are driven by the desire for new knowledge and with our research we build increased understanding and knowledge about the skin and the sample with our microorganisms. The products we develop are always based on the latest research where we put your skin in focus and first place, nothing else.

"Even today, knowledge about our skin is limited. If we are to develop skin care that really makes a difference, continued research is crucial. At Skinome, we invest a lot of resources in our own research, which is made possible thanks to our own lab and collaborations with leading universities."

Patent application

The purpose of the research and development we conduct is to find and evaluate new innovative solutions for better skin health. Our studies have shown that preservatives and traditional skin care have a negative impact on the skin's microbiome and general skin health compared to Skinome's skin care. Read the study here.

Thanks to our own research, we have been able to develop a new and innovative system that we use in our products instead of preservatives, a system that contributes to a positive effect on the skin while making the products self-preserving. Our solution is completely new and has a unique level of invention, which enabled an ongoing patent application and we are both proud and happy to be able to offer this solution to you!

Studies

For each product we develop, we conduct studies to understand and demonstrate the effect that the product has. We try to do our studies according to high standards, they are controlled and comparative, which allows us to better understand and evaluate the effect that the product has. We use objective instrumental measurement methods but also user tests to study the effect.
